*POSTPONED* CND Demonstration at Lakenheath airbase, Suffolk

The planned demonstration at Lakenheath airbase on Saturday, 17th September has been postponed owing to a rail strike. A new date will be arranged in due course, with updates posted to our website ([link removed]) .

In the meantime, CND urges groups and supporters to campaign locally on that day to raise awareness about US nukes at Lakenheath - with themed stalls, letters to the press, etc. A generic leaflet about Lakenheath can be ordered here ([link removed]) . An accompanying poster will be available shortly.

CND condemns the return ([link removed]) of US nuclear weapons to RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk: join our campaign to stop this extremely dangerous and destabilising development!
