Hi John,
On Labor Day, we reflect on working people’s victories. We have created better lives for ourselves and our families. We have safer workplaces and stronger economies.
That’s why unions are more popular this Labor Day than at any time in more than 50 years—with 71% of Americans now approving of unions.
But this momentum didn’t happen by accident. Working people have been frustrated for decades—low wages, unsafe workplaces, unaffordable health care and a lack of respect on the job.
So we rose up and we organized. From Amazon warehouses to coffee shops to university campuses and beyond.
And now, we must do the same for our fundamental freedoms.
This Labor Day, we’re launching the largest organizing drive in history to protect our rights and freedom.
We pledge to fight corporate special interests and billionaire CEOs who are attacking our freedom to join a union.
We pledge to fight racist politicians trying to block our voices at the ballot box.
We pledge to fight any person putting bans on our bodies after the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
We pledge to fight. Will you join us?
If you’re someone who fights for freedom and rights, sign the pledge now.
In Solidarity,
Team AFL-CIO
