Dear MoveOn member,
Today, MoveOn is making a huge announcement: MoveOn members have endorsed
strong, progressive Senate candidates in 10 key swing states!
Together, these candidates will not only stop MAGA Republicans from taking
over the Senate, they also will expand the Democratic majority. If these
candidates win, we will keep Mitch McConnell from regaining the Senate
gavel, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema will become irrelevant, and
Democrats will have the votes to eliminate the filibuster and pass
critically needed legislation, including strengthening and codifying Roe
v. Wade.
In just one second, we will tell you about these candidates and their
races. But first, we have an important question.
With only 67 days left until Election Day, will you chip in $3 a week from
now until Election Day to help elect MoveOn's Senate Slate, keep the GOP
out of power, and end the filibuster? (MoveOn will bill your weekly
donation to your credit card once a month starting today and will contact
you shortly after the election to see if you want to modify or cancel your
weekly donation.)

[ [link removed] ]No, I'm sorry, I can't chip in weekly.
Our Senate strategy is to win open seats, help Democratic candidates who
are challenging extremist Republicans, and protect progressive incumbents
in close races.

In Pennsylvania, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, a progressive Democrat, is
leading MAGA Republican Mehmet Oz, who believes that all abortions at any
stage are murder.^1
In Arizona, Democratic Senator Mark Kelly has an 8-point lead over
billionaire-backed extremist Blake Masters, who supports a federal
abortion ban.^2
In Wisconsin, Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes is taking on Ron
Johnson—who laughed off questions about the fall of Roe by claiming
pregnant people could simply "move" if they needed to access abortion
care.^3
In Georgia, Senator Raphael Warnock is fending off a challenge from GOP
radical Herschel Walker, who supports a federal abortion ban without
exceptions for rape, incest, or to save the life of the pregnant person.^4
In Ohio, we're working to elect Democrat Tim Ryan and defeat Republican JD
Vance, who supports a complete and total ban on abortion, even in cases of
rape and incest—going so far as to call rape "inconvenient."^5
In North Carolina, former state Supreme Court Justice Cheri Beasley is
taking on Trump-backed Ted Budd, who is the owner of a gun shop and has
made defunding Planned Parenthood one of his top priorities if elected.^6
In Kentucky, Democrat Charles Booker is taking on anti-abortion extremist
Rand Paul.
In Colorado, Democratic Senator Michael Bennet—who rejects donations from
corporate PACs—is fending off a challenge from Joe O'Dea, who has been
endorsed by a slew of anti-abortion extremists and who supports radical
restrictions on abortion.^7
In Iowa, Democratic Navy Admiral Mike Franken is closing in on anti-Roe,
Trump-endorsed Republican Senator Chuck Grassley.
And in Washington, we're working to defend progressive champion Patty
Murray from a far-right challenger.
Will you start a $3 weekly donation through Election Day to power MoveOn's
Senate Slate to victory? (MoveOn will bill your weekly donation to your
credit card once a month starting today and will contact you shortly after
the election to see if you want to modify or cancel your weekly donation.)

John, our chances of expanding the Democratic majority in the
Senate are getting better and better every day.
According to the polling and statistics experts at FiveThirtyEight,
Democrats are favored to win the Senate this November.^8
Republicans—and the Washington Establishment—couldn't be more stunned.
Time magazine says Republican Senate candidates are "struggling."^9
The Guardian says that as Republicans "stumble," Democrats are "better
positioned to keep the Senate now than at any other point of this election
cycle."^10
The New York Times says that since the extremist Supreme Court overturned
Roe, it is "increasingly hard to find any concrete signs of Republican
strength."^11
Even Mitch McConnell is admitting on the record that Republicans may not
flip the Senate.^12
We need to take advantage of this golden opportunity and go all-in on
stopping Republicans from taking over the Senate and instead expand the
Democratic majority in the Senate.
Will you start a $3 weekly donation through Election Day to run TV ads,
put up billboards, and run a huge grassroots campaign to get out the vote
and stop Mitch McConnell? (MoveOn will bill your weekly donation to your
credit card once a month starting today and will contact you shortly after
the election to see if you want to modify or cancel your weekly donation.)

Want to support MoveOn's work? Donald Trump and his allies are
methodically enacting a plan to place some of Trump's most ardent
supporters in key election offices that oversee vote counting, have the
power to certify—or decertify—election results, and declare election
winners and losers. We've launched a powerful, multimillion-dollar
campaign to stop Trump. But we need your help to power our effort.
Will you chip in $3 a week to power our work to stop Trump's coup?
