Dear John, ​

The Oregon State Fair started almost a week ago, and we’ve been having a great time! Here are a couple of highlights (names changed to protect privacy).

Alan, a young, pro-choice man approached the booth and was surprised to learn that nearly all abortions occur for reasons besides rape or medical necessity. He asked, “Why are people getting abortions, then?” Alan was so impressed by how we backed up the pro-life position that he responded, “You’re legit.”

We also met Jennifer. She kept gazing at the fetal development models and was visibly burdened. Jennifer shared that she was forced to have an abortion five months into pregnancy. She still bears pain from it. We pointed her to some post-abortion resources where she will hopefully find healing and peace.
