Last night, we closed the books on our August fundraising. We set a goal
to bring in 5,000 online, grassroots contributions and with your support,
we reached 4,785 individual donations.

We knew it was a stretch goal — and we couldn't be more thankful for the
outpouring of donations from folks like you! But we're going up
against our Republican opponent in less than 70 days, so we can't afford
to give this race anything but our all.

Looking at the numbers, we are just 215 individual contributions short of
meeting our goal, so we've decided to extend our deadline until midnight
TONIGHT!
