I had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but I'd prefer to be the one to tell you rather than let the Democrats leak the news to the mainstream media. As a result of the tough fundraising environment Republicans are seeing across the nation, we're not raising enough money to run the campaign that we need to be running. That means we've had to make some hard decisions. We made the toughest call we've had to make since last August. Meanwhile, our opponent Raphael Warnock has more cash than he knows what to do with. He has more than $22 million in the bank and is raising MILLIONS MORE each WEEK. While our campaign doesn't have the money to keep our ads running, Raphael Warnock could run ads for the next 9 weeks without raising another dollar.
I need your help. The more money we raise today, the sooner we can get back on the air.
It takes $2 million per week to run TV ads across Georgia. This might seem like a big number – and it is – but if every person reading this email chips in $5 or even $10, we'd be close to funding our TV budget and getting our advertising going again.
