John,
The midterm election will be here in just under 70 days. We know how important Election Day is and how scared the far right is that voters will turn out to protect democracy.
These are just some of the far right’s recent responses to the impressive voting rights work happening around the country:
- Numerous voter suppression bills passed around the country, the majority of which disproportionately affect voters of color
- Scary and in some cases violent rhetoric against election officials and workers
- Moore v. Harper, the case regarding the fringe independent state legislature theory that could cement Republican power for decades by stripping judicial remedies to fight partisan gerrymandering
This election, voting rights are All On The Line. Chip in to support our work to protect democracy >> [[link removed]]
This midterm may be our most important election to date. With the Supreme Court hearing Moore argument this fall, now is our best chance to bolster work committed to voting rights, fair maps, and strengthening democracy.
Harassment, scare tactics, and impossible voting hurdles have been the far right’s only tactic to ensure they maintain power this fall. At All On The Line, we believe every voter has a right to safe, secure, and fair elections. We are committed to ensuring voting rights through poll access this fall and through fair maps for decades to come. Chip in now to support all our work >> [[link removed]]
