Newsletter of the Goethe-Institut Washington

Dear Friends,

Our Create.Connect.Amplify discussion and networking series returns on September 16 with a session on the intersections between social justice and the visual arts - in particular drawing, painting, comics, and graphic novels. Join us in our space at the Goethe-Institut for the discussion, as well as the opportunity to meet others interested in design and justice. Goethe Book Club also continues this fall with The Artificial Silk Girl by Irmgard Keun.

We also continue to expand our in-person German language courses for adults this fall with a full range of classes from A1.1 for absolute beginners to our B2+ level conversation course. Classes meet Mo-Th evenings, as well as Saturdays.

Not quite ready to return to the classroom? Virtual Blended Learning is the next best option for you with plenty of virtual face-to-face time with other course participants and our instructors. These courses for adults and teens consist of 50% online live group sessions and 50% flexible online learning, closely supported by your instructors. Details below.
