As we head into a long weekend, we wanted to draw your attention to several opportunities to comment on important proposed rules, including some deadlines in the next couple of days. These opportunities include:
- Commenting on the proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule to promote the inclusion of “medically necessary” dental coverage in Medicare by submitting comments using this comment template. Comments due TUESDAY Sept 6 at 5pm ET.
- Joining the Consumers First coalition and sign on to two comments on critical payment and delivery reforms in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) (due TOMORROW Sept 2 at 5pm ET) and Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) (due COB September 12). Even if you are submitting your own comments, we hope you will consider signing on to these group ones as well.
- Staying tuned for more information as we will a continue to be in touch soon about comments related to the 1557 proposed rule (comments due Oct 6th) and the new Medicaid/CHIP enrollment proposed rule (comments likely due Nov 7th).
