Meaningful Transparency at EPA

Transparency about how government agencies operate allows for accountability and oversight, thereby encouraging not just effective governance but also public trust in agency decisions. The report, Meaningful Transparency at EPA, examines how policymakers might consider different approaches to increase the agency's transparency and ensure that its work can continue to protect human health and the environment.

BPC's Director of Immigration and Cross-Border Policy, Theresa Cardinal Brown, appeared on PBS NewsHour to discuss the Supreme Court hearing considering the legality of President Trump's efforts to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival Program.

 

Jason Grumet, BPC president and founder, penned an op-ed with Garrett Johnson, co-founder and executive director of the Lincoln Network, to urge Congress to strengthen its capacity to understand the technological advancements that are changing the American economy and workforce by reinstating agencies like the Office of Technology Assessment.
