John, I just read a startling poll: Americans are losing confidence in America's key institutions - the pillars of our democracy. The good news is we can change that.
When we started NIAC Action in 2015, we wanted to bolster our community's efforts to get involved in political and electoral work. A few years later, we started NIAC Action PAC, which lets us directly invest in candidates and races to help shift the balance of power and grow our community's share of political power. NIAC Action and NIAC Action PAC have allowed us to help elect the first Iranian American woman to Florida’s state legislature, Arizona's city council, and West Hollywood's mayor's office. Now, we are looking to do the same in Washington, Oregon, and California this year.
As we approach another crucial election in November, we've yet again endorsed a historic slate of candidates we believe in. We need to do everything we can to organize and mobilize our community in support of these stellar candidates so that Iranian Americans can increasingly become embedded in our politics – at every level of government.
John, our work is powered by people like you. We can’t keep pushing for change without funding. Can we count on your support? [[link removed]]
