We have just 30 days to go!
Friend of Israel,
I want to thank you for all you have done to support Israel's safety and security this past year.
The year began with Iran and its terror proxy forces once again ramping up their regional aggression, launching nine drone attacks against Israel and other allies across the region in the early weeks of 2022.
In February, Amnesty International opened a full-scale campaign attacking Israel, releasing a biased report that ridiculously labeled Israel an “apartheid state” nation with Amnesty's executive director saying, point blank, that Israel "shouldn’t exist as a Jewish state.”
In March, a horrific wave of shooting, stabbing and car ramming attacks began on Israel’s streets that killed a total of 19 Israelis in just weeks. Hamas and other Iran-backed Palestinian terror groups called these attacks "heroic operations" and urged more such attacks.
And just last month, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired 1,100 rockets at Israel over just three days, forcing thousands of Israelis into bomb shelters. Thankfully, Israel has Iron Dome, which intercepted 96% of the rockets that were on target for Israeli communities (including homes and schools), saving countless lives.
Amid these growing dangers—pro-Israel Americans like you engaged our leaders on Capitol Hill to ensure that bipartisan support for Israel’s security remained strong.
This year, your support helped us work with Congress to pass a record-setting $4.8 billion in security and missile defense funding for Israel, including $1 billion in emergency funding to replenish Iron Dome.
You also helped us urge members in the House to overwhelmingly adopt the Stop Iranian Drones Act and members of the Senate to support a bipartisan campaign to defend Israel from discriminatory treatment at the U.N. Human Rights Council.
But as Israel continues to face dangers on all fronts, and some here in America take actions that would risk Israel’s safety by weakening the U.S.-Israel alliance, there is much more work to be done.

That is why I hope you will consider joining AIPAC and making an investment in our important work before our September 30th fiscal-year deadline.
Thank you for your support. Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.
Sincerely,
Brian Shankman
Chief Strategy Director for National Affairs

P.S. AIPAC’s resources for the next year are highly dependent on donations received before September 30, when our fiscal year ends. Your support will help provide the resources we need to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship not only in the critical months ahead, but well into the future.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
