MurLarkey? Distilled Spirits will enter a long-term lease with Villagio Hospitality Group to construct a new 25,000 square foot craft distillery on the Farm Brew LIVE campus by the end of 2023. The news was accompanied by the presentation of Prince William County?s first Agricultural and Forestry Industries Development Grant (AFID) on August 11 from Governor Youngkin?s office, with a total value of $500,000 for MurLarkey?s expansion.

Prince William County Neighborhood Services and Solid Waste Divisions of the Department of Public Works are helping residents, neighborhoods and community groups safely and conveniently dispose of unwanted items by providing free dumpsters at various locations throughout the county.?Residents are encouraged to work together to clean up common areas, organize litter pickups and clean up streams, lakes and waterways in their neighborhoods.
 National Falls Prevention Awareness Week, September 18?24
The Prince William Area Agency on Aging will be observing National Falls Prevention Awareness Week, September 18?24, to raise community awareness that falls are preventable. The Woodbridge and Manassas Senior Centers will host Falls Prevention Awareness Days focused on fall prevention education, tips and tools with activities and presentations from local community businesses and organizations throughout the day.
 Prince William Health District Monkeypox Vaccine Interest Survey
Prince William Health District is working to ensure that residents of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park who have been exposed or are at high risk of being exposed to monkeypox receive a vaccination.
You may be eligible for the Jynneos monkeypox vaccine if you are: A Virginia resident; AND Have a known exposure to someone with monkeypox.
People who fall into any of the following groups: - All people of any sexual orientation or gender who have had anonymous or multiple (more than one) sexual partners in the last two weeks; - Sex workers (of any sexual orientation or gender); - Staff (of any sexual orientation or gender).
