Six years ago, Nevada had never elected a senator that looked like me. As the first woman from Nevada and first Latina ever elected to the Senate, I can feel the weight of so many women and girls across the country.

I can see the frustration, doubt, and the looming worry of what rights they’ll try to take away from us next now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

Meanwhile, my opponent Adam Laxalt (R) is laughing behind closed doors, saying that Roe was a “joke.” He celebrated our rights being taken away as a “historic victory,” and he could be the deciding vote on Mitch McConnell's national abortion ban.

I want all of the women and girls in Nevada to know that someone is sticking up for them. I refuse to concede our fundamental freedoms and I will work as hard as I can every day to make sure Laxalt doesn’t step one foot in the United States Senate.

But I need your help to make sure we defeat him and defend our Democratic Senate majority.

If we lose in Nevada, Republicans will flip the Senate and work to outlaw abortion nationwide. But my campaign is being MASSIVELY outspent by Mitch McConnell and his allies, who are spending $34 MILLION to defeat me.

I’m only down by 1 POINT, so I’m fighting with every fiber of my being – because this race will determine whether or not our daughters and granddaughters have the same rights that we do today.

That’s why I’m personally asking you to chip in whatever you can right now to save our Democratic Senate majority and stop Mitch McConnell’s nationwide abortion ban.
