Saudi Authorities Target Women’s Rights Activist Salma al-Shehab

The Saudi regime has sentenced Salma Al-Shehab, a Saudi national living in the United Kingdom, to 34 years in prison for publicly supporting women’s rights activists on Twitter
Freedom House joined more than 30 other NGOs in calling for Al-Shehab’s release and that of others currently detained for the peaceful exercise of their fundamental rights.
