Yesterday, I announced my vote on both articles of impeachment.

This is not a decision I came to lightly, and it is not one I take any joy in, but I feel it is the only way to uphold the oath I took when I arrived to Congress:

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

I intend to fulfill the promise of these words by voting yes. I hope you will take a moment to read my full thoughts on this deeply sad moment for our country:
