Hi Friend,

I’m Adam Hinojosa, a 4th generation Texan and a successful small businessman. More than that, I am a husband and a father who wants to leave the world better for my children. 

Caring about local politics has been ingrained in my siblings and I since we were young. We’d write letters asking them why they were running, and many would even meet with us to talk about issues and their solutions. From there, it was yard signs, door knocking, and volunteering our way to a win. 

It was an incredibly valuable experience and we learned a lot. I’m grateful every day for those lessons in local leadership and how much it matters.  

It was my father who first introduced me to politics, and after he passed our local friends and family encouraged us to get back into political business. I’ve been dismayed with the fraud and corruption we’re seeing locally. When the incumbent Democrat state senator decided to retire after 30 years in office, we decided it was time to run. 

This is my home. I was born here, live here, as my family has for 4 generations. Our slice of Texas has the southern coast, and the farms and ranches that make up our vast agricultural industry. There’s a lot to love. But we need to take care of it. 

Many people know Texas as one of the reddest states in the union, a haven for constitutional liberty and conservative values. This sadly isn’t always the case.

I come from the largest Democrat stronghold in Texas and I am on a mission to change that. 

South Texas has been under Democrat control since Reconstruction. Even with the state flipping red in the 1990’s, South Texas has been the lone hold out. 

For years, Democrats across the country have claimed there was a sleeping giant in Texas–the Hispanic vote. They swore that once Hispanics and Latinos began voting, Texas would be painted blue once and for all, but they were wrong.

Just two months ago, Republican Mayra Flores flipped a historically blue district that Joe Biden won by four points. It’s time to finish what she started here in South Texas.

My values, the values of my family, and my community, are values of faith, family, hard work, and honesty. We have been sleeping, but we are waking up. Waking up to the truth that our values no longer align with the Democratic party, if they ever did.

We are DONE with the corruption of DC and local Democrats. We are DONE with rich liberals assuming they own our votes. We are DONE with their pandering and we are DONE with their party. 

That’s why I am running to flip South Texas RED for the first time in over 150 years. 

Democrats have controlled South Texas for well over a century and a half. It has gotten us nothing but open borders, rampant poverty, and skyrocketing crime as the cartels use our backyards for human trafficking and our children’s playgrounds for drug deals. 

A huge part of my district sits along the border. You can see where President Trump’s wall sits unfinished and cartels smuggle drugs and human victims on a daily basis. Stopping the border crisis and the crime that comes with it is a top priority for me. 

Enough is enough. Stand with me and help me take the last Democrat stronghold in Texas. Let’s bring a red wave to South Texas and make sure that Texas RED for generations to come.
