Adopt a chimp today ( [link removed] ) and join our primate family

Hi John,

Today is International Primate Day so join Born Free and pant-hoot like a chimp to celebrate these remarkable beings!

From the rescue of tiny monkeys to the conservation of mighty gorillas, we’re as devoted as you are to these clever, inventive animal families.

Now you can show how much you care by adopting your own orphan chimp and help look after them. ( [link removed] )

Just £3 per month and you’ll get ALL of these:

đŸ” A personalised gift pack including a named certificate
đŸ” A recent photo of your chimp
đŸ” A free (optional) cuddly toy
đŸ” Regular updates on how your chimp is getting on

OR go green with our new eco-friendly digital adopt pack. Same price to you, but without the physical posting, we can provide more of your gift to the sanctuary.

Chinoise was just a baby when her mother was killed by poachers and she was sold as a pet. Terrified and traumatised, the lonely chimp was put on display in a Chinese restaurant in Cameroon – given alcohol to keep her quiet.

Thankfully, she was rescued and is now part of a loving family of rescued chimps. She has transformed at wonderful Limbe Wildlife Centre and her playful personality is starting to shine through. No one can replace her lost mother, BUT older female Papaya has taken her under her wing (look at them together in the image on the left), and become her adopted mum.

It beggar’s belief how some people can treat chimps – humankind’s closest relatives. But, together, let’s make it up to Chinoise and show how much we care! And that’s not all, when you adopt, you’ll also help fund chimp conservation in the wild.

Now THAT’S how to celebrate our primate cousins on this special day!

We can’t wait to welcome you into Chinoise’s extended family – love your friends at Born Free
