Today is the last day of the month and I am sure you are receiving dozens of emails from political candidates and PACs telling you how they are behind in their goals and they need you to contribute today to help them meet their unspecified goal.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all of your contributions [[link removed]]. This month, with your generous support we have broken three personal fundraising records. We have had our best one day of fundraising, we have had our best week of fundraising, and we have had our best month of fundraising.

Every day I wake up and study the polls. The polls are showing us that a lot of Californians are dissatisfied with the direction our nation is going. There has never been a better opportunity in the last 30 years to upset the apple cart and elect a Republican to the U.S. Senate for the state of California. Between now and November 8th, I am going to be all over this state educating the voters of the opportunity that they have to elect a Senator that will fight to put their pocketbook ahead of the pocketbook of the lobbyist and special interest. It is time that we shore up the financial house of the United States so that she can be a dominate force for good around the world for hundreds of years to come.
