Asking for money is my least favorite thing to do, but it's a reality of campaigning and the only way we can fight back against the $30 million that extreme GOP groups are attacking me with. While Republicans rely on corporate special interests and dark-money super PACs to fund their campaigns, we rely on grassroots donors like you, pitching in what you can when it matters most.

And tonight's benchmark matters. Here's why:
