John,

This week I wrote to you about the battle to protect net neutrality and our free access to information.

Those same big telecom companies that pushed for that giveaway are now backing my Republican opponent with corporate PAC money in the Montana Attorney General race.

Back in September, I made a pledge not to take a single dollar from corporate PACs. That’s because I believe that elections should belong to people, not corporations. I will not be bought by big telcom or any other corporate giants.

But that also means I won’t have big corporate backers as we get closer to our end of year deadline. Can you help us fill the gap by donating?

The Attorney General’s Office is not for sale. It belongs to us--the people.

My opponent and his big corporate sponsors are already making plans to come after me. They don’t want an Attorney General who will hold them accountable and be an independent watchdog for Montanans.

That is why this race is so important.

If big telecom can buy this seat, they can write the rules. Our online privacy will be gone. Our businesses and economic growth will suffer. And, our access to information will be shut down.

With your help and support, we can do what Montanans have always done: stand up to these powerful interests and have an Attorney General who works for us.

We have an important end of the year deadline coming up this month. Please consider donating to my campaign today.

Sincerely,

-Raph Graybill
