Tonight at midnight, our end-of-month fundraising goal expires. But I’ll level with you John: We’re not where we need to be in terms of progress toward our goal.

I’ve consulted with my team and we’ve done the math: based on the average contribution to emails like these, we are going to need 138 people to donate right now to meet our goal.

We set this goal because, with the sprint toward Election Day well underway, we need every resource possible to connect with every voter and push back against the $30 million smear campaign Republicans are running here in New Hampshire.

Keeping the Senate is contingent on keeping New Hampshire, and slowing down now is just not something we can afford to do. But if we miss this goal, we will have to have tough conversations about where to cut the budget.

We just need 138 people. So I’ve got to ask John – can you be one of them?
