Thanks to your support and the strength of this team, I helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act this month. My Democratic colleagues and I are lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, securing a historic investment in climate and clean energy, and making sure big corporations like Amazon will pay their fair share.
But that work makes me a target of corporate special interests and the National GOP. In August alone, Mitch McConnell spent six-figures on TV ads to unseat me, and he has a $331 million warchest to lean on.
