Hey, John — it's Summer.
I know you've received a few emails from my team lately, but with our end-of-month fundraising deadline coming up in just hours, I'm emailing you one final time tonight to ask if you'll please chip in $5 before our midnight deadline to help hit our 5,000 online, grassroots contributions goal.
Running for Congress is hard work — especially when you're committed to running a 100% people-powered campaign and you don't have generational wealth or big corporate PAC checks to rely on.
I'm not running for Congress to represent special interests or billionaire CEOs. I'm running for Congress to represent the everyday folks of Western Pennsylvania. The people who, like me, know what it means to grow up in a household with a parent working multiple jobs to stay afloat or who understand just how crushing student debt can be.
I know you may not be able to chip in today, but with our election in less than 10 weeks — we're relying on this grassroots-funded campaign to help us win power in Congress and deliver progress for the people.
So, I have to ask just one final time before midnight:
Can you chip $5, or any amount meaningful to you, before tonight's August fundraising deadline? We're incredibly close to our goal of 5,000 online, grassroots contributions — your donation might actually be the one that could push us over the finish line.
