Let me fill you in. Tonight is our August end-of-month fundraising deadline. I spoke with my finance team today, and we’re still coming up short. So, I’m reaching out to my top supporters.

Rick Caruso is going to pull out all of the stops in the coming months. Luckily for him, he has the funds to buy as many TV ads as he wants. But what he has in cash, he lacks in authenticity and experience.

He recently started pandering to women with his ‘Make LA Work for Women’ campaign. But we haven't forgotten the hundreds of thousands of dollars he's donated to anti-abortion extremist politicians in Washington over the years.

Unlike my opponent, I've been a lifelong champion for women in my public service career. And I'm ready to not only make history as the first woman mayor of Los Angeles but be a TRUE advocate for women in L.A.
