Household Chemical Collection Event coming to Bainbridge Island, September 17th
Kitsap County Solid Waste and the City of Bainbridge partner to bring a one-day Household Chemical Collection Event to the North Kitsap community.
Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
7305 NE Hidden Cove RD
Projects wrapping up?
The summer's winding down and so are many of those outdoor projects. Now is a good time to clear out the shed, garage and cupboards of dangerous chemicals you no longer need to store.
Gather your leftover cleaners, pool/spa and garden chemicals. Bring your items down to 7305 NE Hidden Cove, Bainbridge Island on Saturday, September 17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Staff will safely dispose of them for you. No businesses are allowed at this event for households.
Follow the safe transport tips when you pack up those unwanted items. Items must be in the rear cargo area, trunk or truck bed. Event staff will unload your items. Containers cannot be emptied and returned at this event.
South and Central Kitsap Options
Our centrally-located Household Hazardous Waste Facility is a great option for South, Central and all Kitsap households year round. This facility accepts more than the select items we can take at the event. They also accept larger loads by appointment. Some businesses that produce small amounts of chemicals may also use their services too.
