John, I cannot tell you how proud I am of the work Democrats have achieved in Congress these past few weeks.

We passed the Inflation Reduction Act to lower health care costs and make the largest investment ever in combating climate change. We passed the PACT Act to provide our veterans with expanded health care. We passed the CHIPS & Science Act to enhance our national security while incentivizing the creation of high-tech manufacturing jobs right here in America. We passed the first gun reform legislation in decades as a meaningful step toward curbing the gun violence epidemic.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that these bills passed with little to no Republican support. After all, GOP leaders are demanding loyalty to an extreme partisan agenda and nothing else. I am facing down extreme, hyper-partisan, conspiracy-wielding Republican messaging in my race here in CT-05.
