You know I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important.

I wrote to you a week ago asking for your help to reach our August grassroots fundraising goal. 

I’m heartened by the outpouring of support we’ve received since then. But I wanted to personally reach out one final time before August ends to ask for your help again.

My team is telling me that we have more to do to reach our goal — and there’s only a few hours left until the month ends! Can you help us close the gap by making a contribution of any amount right now?

We still face big challenges — and big opportunities — ahead of us this year. I'm going to continue my work to hold powerful interests accountable, combat the opioid epidemic, protect our environment, and defend reproductive rights. 

But I can’t do it without you.

This team inspires me every day. Whether you show up by contributing to the campaign, attending one of our events, or volunteering for local candidates, I’m grateful. It’s going to take all of us to create the North Carolina we all want. Can I count on you?
