I’m glad I caught you, friend.

Tonight marks our August end-of-month fundraising deadline. As it stands, we’re still coming up $7,137 short of our online fundraising goal. As a reminder, since I’m not backed by corporate PACs, and our campaign is relying on grassroots contributions to stay on track.

Will you rush in a donation before midnight to help us meet this monthly benchmark?

This week, we got word that Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC is adding an additional $450,000 in attack ads against us. Friend, this is on top of the roughly $3 million we already know is headed our way.

There’s a reason the GOP is so worried about IL-17. The latest polling shows us surging in the race, and my opponent Esther King’s extreme, anti-choice positions are completely out of touch with our district.

Put simply, I’m the candidate voters trust. When you work as a local meteorologist for twenty years, you become intimately familiar with the problems a community faces. In Congress, I’ll use my expertise in communication to advocate on important issues from the cost of health care to the impacts of climate change.

We need all hands on deck as we head into the final two months of this race. It’s going to be close, and every grassroots contribution will make a difference.

If you’re with me, chip in to give us a boost in this hyper-competitive campaign. [link removed] [[link removed]]

Thank you in advance for your support.

– Eric
