On August 31, during their regularly scheduled meeting, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board took the following two cannabis-related actions:

"The Board approved a "Preproposal Statement of Inquiry ("CR 101) "to consider creating new, amending, or repealing existing rule sections as necessary to update advertising requirements for licensed cannabis businesses. "The Board approved a "Preproposal Statement of Inquiry ("CR 101) "regarding WAC 314-55-075. The LCB is considering amending WAC 314-55-075 regarding cannabis plant canopy. This rulemaking may be needed to update and modernize rule language regarding plant canopy as is defined in WAC 314-55-010(31).
