Team — a week ago, we sent a strong message across the country and proved a lot of people wrong.
Poll after poll showed Pat behind his Republican opponent, and pundits expressed doubt about whether we could win this competitive seat.
This might be bold to say, but I never had a doubt that Pat and this incredible grassroots team had what it took to win.
Even though we faced strong headwinds, we stood strong. Our message never wavered, and Pat never compromised what values he believed in.
I have no doubt that this campaign has what it takes to win again in November – but we’re still facing some tough challenges ahead.
