I want to thank everyone who has stepped up to show their support this week before tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline. I am always so honored when folks show their support, whether it’s through volunteering their time or chipping in so Team Dingell has the resources to reach voters.

 

Thanks to the outpouring of support that we’ve seen, we’re now within $978 of reaching our goal. My team told me we only have a few hours left until the deadline, but if just 40 supporters chipped in $25, we would reach our goal. You know my least favorite part of this job is asking you for money. Still, I know how important reaching these goals is and I don’t take any election for granted.

 

This election is a critical one. Within the new MI-06 district are several state house and state senate races that are going to come down to the margins. We also have critical races at the top of the ticket. Reaching voters in MI-06 could make the difference between winning these important races and flipping our state legislature blue.

 

When Team Dingell connects with voters, we aren’t just talking to them about our campaign and the work I’m doing in Congress. We’re talking to voters about the collective impact Michigan Democrats are making to make our state even better and our plans for a brighter future.
