The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, which works to bring national attention to the strong, progressive candidates who are on the frontlines of the fight for our state legislatures, announced its first round of Spotlight candidates for Texas.

We're so excited that John has been chosen as one of three initial Spotlight candidates. With the Texas House on the line in 2020, and redistricting around the corner, the eyes of the nation are on House District 136!
