Here's the deal:
As your Treasurer, my goal is to put you and every Delawarean first in our state's financial planning process. My job is about making sure we use every single cent of taxpayer dollars as efficiently and effectively as possible–and I don't take that lightly.
That's why I take asking for campaign donations so seriously. I know how hard you work for your paycheck. And it is a huge gift to me when you invest any amount of money in this campaign.
So I need you to know: Every single dollar contributed to the campaign between now and midnight tonight will go directly to voter outreach. That includes printing literature about the campaign, paying for phone- and text-banking, and covering gas costs to and from voter outreach events, just to name a few.
John, there's so much at stake in this election. With Republican Treasurers taking extremist right wing money to thwart efforts to address climate change, it’s crucial that we win this reelection campaign and keep a Democrat in the Treasurer’s office.
But if we're going to win, we need to meet our End of Month fundraising goal. So I need to ask again: Will you make a contribution of any amount to our campaign right now and help bring us over the finish line?
