Pete Buttigieg just held a fundraiser in a wine cave owned by billionaires
— complete with a 1,500 Swarovski crystal chandelier, $900 dollar bottles
of red wine, and the wealthiest 1%.

The fundraiser could have been a scene from HBO’s Succession or The Hunger
Games. Take a look:

This is the kind of extravagant wealth that our movement is up against. We
don’t hold fancy fundraisers with billionaires in wine caves.

against those who would rather cozy up to the billionaire class than fight

But it’s clear from Pete Buttigieg’s policies and opulent fundraisers that
he’s more concerned with increasing his own political power than actually
doing anything of substance for the working people of our country.

We’re fighting each and every day to elect a bigger Squad in 2020. We need
more leaders like AOC who will fight to dismantle the billionaire class,
not wine and dine them in exchange for huge campaign checks.
