| For all the school districts in the 150th Legislative District, it is the first week back to school. I hope every student had a wonderful first day and great first week.
I encourage the youngest constituents of our community to try hard, learn lots, and make friends. Be kind to those around you, from your teachers and classmates to your bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, and even those who you pass in the hallway. I wish you all an excellent school year!

| Upper Providence Fire & Emergency Services Tragedy
|
| Last Thursday our firefighters suffered another tragedy as the pregnant wife of Jason Adams, a firefighter in Upper Providence, died in a car accident that also took the life of their unborn daughter.
A passionate teacher and a mother to two boys, Adams is in my thoughts and prayers. Her obituary can be found here.

| Happy Labor Day! A holiday to honor the essential workers and laborers in our community and across the nation who are dedicated to their community each and every day. Today and every day we are thankful for our nurses and first responders, unionized workers, utility, food, and transportation employees, and so many more.
Please note, to celebrate the holiday, my district office will be closing early this Friday, September 2 and will reopen Tuesday, September 6.

| PA House Fellowship Program

| The Pennsylvania House Legislative Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2023 session. This 13-week Fellowship will be based in Harrisburg, and accepted applicants will be placed in committee chair and House leadership offices.
