The cost of prescription drugs in the U.S. is out of control (much like the Republicans in Congress right now). On Thursday, the House passed the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would bring down costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug companies and letting everyone, even folks on private insurance, benefit from the negotiated prices.

Only TWO House Republicans crossed the aisle to vote for this bill -- because GOP leadership knows that this bill would hurt the profits of their Big Pharma donors.

This bill would save Medicare $450 billion in drug costs over the next decade. If you think the Senate needs to pass this bill and lower costs for everyone -- not protect Big Pharma donors at all costs -- we need you to tell the Senate to act NOW!
