Hey John — We have some not-so-great news to share with you. Right now, we’re not on track to hit our important end-of-month fundraising goal before the deadline expires at midnight.

The truth is, fewer folks have pitched into our campaign this month and the average donation to emails like this one is down quite a bit — which is exactly what national Republicans and our opponent were hoping for in the final weeks of this election.

Now the way we see it, we have two ways to catch up:

1. We either need more people to chip in before our fundraising deadline expires at midnight
