If this month’s primary results showed us anything, it’s that Washingtonians are motivated to protect our democracy, fight for reproductive justice, and reject extremism in this critical election.
I’m proud to represent the people of the 26th district, and I’m excited to keep our Democratic majority’s progress going. In this moment of national reckoning over abortion rights and safeguarding democracy, we need leaders who will put people – not politics or donors – first.
Even with our primary victory, we’re in for a tough fight this November. My race was the closest Washington State Senate race against a Republican in the primary, so we can’t afford to become complacent now.
And with PAC money bankrolling my opponent’s campaign, we need to expand our voter outreach even further.

We can expect even more spending from Washington Republicans and their special interest backers in favor of my extremist opponent and GOP candidates across the state, so we must be ready to compete.
