With the General Election closing in, I’ll be checking in more regularly with updates on our fundraising efforts and how we’re stacking up to our opponent and the network of super PACs operating behind him.

By the way, we recently got word that McCarthy’s super PAC attacks against us are going live soon. In response, we set an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 in online contributions to plus-up our budget. We’re getting close to that mark, but we still need about $16,500 before midnight to get there.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think that how candidates fund their campaigns says A LOT about the type of representative they’ll be. Mike’s opponent is counting on dark money from nameless billionaires to flip this seat. Meanwhile, we’re counting on individual donors to fund our operation.

Our list of donors is more than just names on a spreadsheet. Each donation represents a real person who cares about keeping CA-49 and the House blue in November. Seeing that support goes a long way in fueling Mike to keep fighting for us.
