Hi friends,

This is Emma Brown, Mark’s campaign manager. I made a hard decision today, and you need to know about it.

Election Day is just two months away. Everything we know tells us that an onslaught of ads attacking Mark are on their way. Politico just called it a “red wave — of cash.”

And we’ve got a big problem. ActBlue was down last week. Long story short: We couldn’t take in donations on two separate days. We saw a drop off in contributions that we didn’t expect, and now we’re way behind on our goals ahead of our end-of-month deadline. The timing isn’t great .

The only way we can fight back and set the record straight is if we double down on our TV ads and voter outreach. And allocating the budget for that was a tough decision after we fell so far short last week.

But I’ll be honest: I did it anyway.

I did it because I’m betting people like you know how important it is for Mark to defend this Senate seat and that enough people will step up and help us fill the budget gap.

So please. We need a huge few days or we could be in trouble.

Chip in whatever you can before our deadline at midnight tonight. It all adds up when we’re all chipping in.
