We’ve sent a number of fundraising emails in advance of tonight’s August fundraising deadline. Our hope was that you would take those messages as a sign of just how important this moment is to our campaign.

Unfortunately, our fundraising has not picked up the way we need it to, and now we are just a few hours away and at deep risk of coming up short of our goals.

These goals are not arbitrary — not at all.

They are what it takes to reach the voters we need to persuade, to turn out, and to win.

Hitting these goals, or not, is the difference between winning this race and flipping this seat, or not.

We still have a few hours left, but we need lots and lots of donations before midnight. It’s gotta start with you. Please.
