What a month!

When we launched this campaign last August, things were a bit different. We knew this district would get redrawn, but the boundaries were in flux; I was running against two other contenders in the primary; and Ann Wagner and her allies expressed misguided confidence that she would be easily reelected. 

Now, nearly one month out from our primary election in which over 85% of the voters selected me to take on Wagner, we have, together, flipped the script on pundits’ conventional wisdom. We are in a strong position to deliver this message to those in power who would gleefully take away our fundamental rights: We will not tolerate your unjustified intrusion into our private lives.

At the end of this whirlwind month, I want to thank you for entrusting me with this responsibility, and humbly ask for your continued support so that we can keep Ann running scared and deliver a big victory for underrepresented Missourians in November:
