Hi John, it’s Katie Porter. I’m reaching out to talk to you about Dr. Yadira Caraveo.
She is a pediatrician, a Colorado state representative, and she’s running for Congress in Colorado’s 8th district. Right now, this is one of the most competitive races in the country, and Yadira needs our help.

As a state legislator, she fought to help families – and she delivered. Yadira passed legislation to lower prescription drug prices, limit toxic pollution, expand preschool funding, and ensure paid family and sick leave. In Congress, she WILL deliver for Coloradans. I know Yadira has what it takes to pull off a win in this ultra-competitive district, but trust me when I say, she’s going to need us behind her.
Republican super PACs have already started running ads supporting Yadira’s opponent, and they’ve committed millions of dollars to make sure this open seat is red. Meanwhile, Yadira doesn’t take corporate PAC money for her campaign. That’s why it’s up to us to help elect Yadira and hold our House majority.
