If you’ve been here for a while, then you’ll know that I’ve got my head in the numbers a lot of the time. Because it’s my job to make sure that when opportunities come up, we have all of the resources we need to grow stronger and make our movement even bigger.
We’re gearing up for when Parliament returns in the fall, and there are some big fights ahead. We need to force Ottawa to put working people ahead of corporate profits. And when those opportunities arise, we need to have the dollars in place to campaign, grow, and get results.
Today, we have less than 12 hours left to meet our August fundraising goal. Will you help get ready for the hard work ahead by chipping in $21 or whatever you can?
As a grassroots movement, we don’t have the same resources as the insiders and elites — but what we do have is the determination and support of people like you across the country. People who are fired up and ready to fight back against the out-of-control corporate greed we’re seeing right now.
But going up against the power and influence of billionaires and mega corporations won’t be easy, and none of us can do it alone. We need a movement that steps up when it matters most.
