Dear John,

Recently, the Biden administration released new regulations for Title IX, the civil rights law that protects students from discrimination on the basis of sex. The new Title IX rule would also prevent discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, strengthen protections for survivors of sexual assault, and provide support for pregnant and parenting students.

Anti-LGBTQ groups have launched a full-scale attack which included publishing several articles condemning the new Title IX rule. Now is the time to let the Biden administration know that support for LGBTQ+ young people outweighs the opposition!

Please take a moment today to tell the federal government that LGBTQ+ students should be protected from discrimination. The Title IX rule is open for public comment until September 12. You may use this template or write your own comment in support. You can share this template with friends too!

Thank you for taking action to defend marginalized students!

In solidarity,

Erin, Shireen, Anvita, Audrey, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Evonnia, Jacqueline, Jessica, Kara, Nataley, Tenaja, and the Reproaction team

P.S. Support LGBTQ students now by submitting your public comments.
