I know, I know... your inbox is full, but wanted to quickly update you on my race as the end of summer approaches. Here are a few key things to know:

This is what we know:
1. This is the most competitive Senate race in Washington State.
2. This race has been the most expensive and had the most outside money poured into it, by far.
3. We’re expecting and preparing for attacks against me from special interest groups, seeking to buy their way into this district.

This is what we’re doing about it:
1. Since the primary, I’ve already been back out in the field, knocking on doors (over 1,600 this month!) and having important conversations with friends and neighbors all across the 26th district.
2. We’re continuing to build a grassroots movement of everyday, hard-working people just like you, coming together to fight for our communities, and protect abortion rights from extremists like my opponent.
3. We’re focused on hitting every single goal until the election , to fund our voter communication plans and ensure we’re reaching as many voters as possible before November 8th.

But we’re still $7,131 away from our August goal, with only today left to make up the difference. I need your help to make sure voters all across the 26th District hear our message. Can you send in $5, $50, or even $500 before midnight to help us close the gap? [[link removed]]
