John — we’ve seen all too clearly how consequential elections are. And this election in November in Colorado is one of the most important we’ve ever faced.

We have a big fundraising deadline coming up at midnight tonight. And before I ask for your help, I want to talk about the fundamental question before us in this race. And that’s this: What kind of place do we want Colorado to be?

A place that protects fundamental freedoms like the right to choose, or a place where the government tells women what they can and can’t do with their own bodies?

A place where we tackle the issue of climate change with urgency and prevent natural disasters? Or one where we ignore hard truths and just hope for the best?

A place where folks can afford their life-saving prescriptions like insulin? Or one where Coloradans have to choose between putting food on the table and getting the medication they need?

I think the answers to these questions are pretty clear, John. And for as long as I’m Governor, I promise to keep working toward a Colorado for All, where what’s best for Coloradans always comes first — before the demands of ideologues or the profits of special interests.
