Two months after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, more than a dozen states have banned or severely restricted abortion.

That includes my home state of Texas, where the most extreme abortion ban in America went into effect last week. Abortion providers could now face large fines and life in prison -- all for providing health care.

If you’re furious, you’re not alone. But anger alone won’t fix this: We must elect Democrats from the statehouse to the Senate to stop the GOP in their tracks. You haven’t chipped in to support the DNC this year. Ahead of tonight’s deadline, can you chip in $7 to help power the Democratic National Committee?

Republicans continue to make clear the MAGA agenda is more important than the reproductive freedom of Americans. They will stop at nothing to try to justify their dangerous plan to ban abortion, even though an overwhelming majority of Americans believe abortion should be legal in some or all circumstances.

The midterm elections are only 69 days away, but the DNC has been laying the groundwork for Democratic success since last year. Your support keeps the fire burning, and with abortion rights and everything that’s on the line, I’m personally asking that you step up today.
