PAKISTAN FLOODS UPDATE: Millions of people's livelihoods have been wiped out and many survivors are going without essentials like food and water. Please make a gift right now to help us scale up our emergency response in crisis areas around the world »
Friend,
Survivors of deadly floods in Pakistan are still in grave danger. One third of the country is under water.
Homes and shops were washed away. Entire communities are living in makeshift shelters on roadsides. Millions of people no longer have access to food, clean water, or medical care.
Yet only 23% of people we surveyed in an affected province reported receiving any kind of aid.
The IRC is in Pakistan distributing emergency food and hygiene kits and setting up medical tents and safe places for women and children. We're asking for your help right now to scale up. We're turning to our most dedicated supporters like you for help scaling up our response in Pakistan and crisis zones around the world.
Please make an emergency gift to help people in Pakistan and other places in crisis survive and rebuild their lives.

Friend, the situation is heartbreaking and the need for aid is growing rapidly.
More than 1,100 people have already lost their lives. And it's a number that could still grow if people remain cut off from essentials like food, water and shelter.
Your emergency gift can help people in Pakistan survive and start to rebuild and make sure our critical work around the world continues.
Thanks in advance for doing what you can to help in this horrible situation.
— Hank, IRC
